We invite you to submit an abstract to be presented at the 30th IBSC Conference. Abstracts related to the themes listed in the program will be prioritized, but we are also looking forward to receive abstracts covering other themes. Be aware that the program will be developed, new themes will be included. Any new approach to the mitigation of wildlife strikes is welcomed.
Abstract guidelines
The deadline for abstract submission is 30 March 2012.
The organisers reserve the right to accept or refuse any abstract, to designate papers as either oral or poster presentations and to choose a suitable session for the abstract.
Notice of acceptance will be e-mailed to the submitting author by 20 April 2012. (We apologize for the delay, but we will send information in the end of this week).
The submitting and presenting authors must register as a congress delegate and pay the registration fee. Abstracts without paid registration fee will not be accepted for the congress or published in the abstract book.
Abstracts which have not been prepared according to these instructions or within the deadline will not be published in the abstract book.

Independent abstracts:
The maximum length of an abstract is 250 words (excluding title, authors’ names and affiliations). Abstracts must be written in English and with “sentence case” both for title and body of the abstract.
Include all authors’ names and affiliations, city and country, as well as E-mail address for presenting/contact author.
The abstract should be written in a structured manner like this and give a brief description og the presentation.
Presentation and paper
We encourage you to write a paper which the oral presentation will be based upon. The deadline for papers and presentations is the day prior to presentation at the conference.
The paper should include the:
OBJECTIVES of the study
METHODS used
RESULTS obtained
CONCLUSIONS reached.
All financial support from commercial parties must be disclosed in a final statement of the paper or presentation.
